Yong Tai Berhad is a public company listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia which core business is in tourism related property development.
Since emerging as Yong Tai Berhad in the year 2014, we have successfully diversified Yong Tai’s business from garment manufacturer to property developer and recorded continuous profit, compared to loss over the past few years. We have also managed to secure a few major projects with international partners and become a pioneering force in tourism and cultural related development. We believe in “trust” management and creating a “family-like” work culture which enable us to achieve so much in a short period of time with limited manpower. Beyond talents and skills, it is the spirit of the “dare to dream, dare to do” attitude, honouring our commitment and maintaining earnest relationships with our business partners that have brought us thus far.

Datuk Wira Boo Kuang Loon has more than 30 years of experience in property development, project management and construction management. As the executive leader of Yong Tai, Datuk Wira Boo has won some of the top industry/entrpreneur awards namely The Sinchew Busines Excellence Award as Business Excellence Person of the Year 2018. Despite his public success, he stays down-to earth as a father figure to the Yong Tai team. His calm and nurturing approach inspires the people around him, motivating them towards the company’s goals and steering a united team towards growth and success.
Most importantly, his team is driven by example. Datuk Wira Boo is not afraid to make bold moves which have proven to be sound investments. He is known for conceptualising and supervising the successful build of Jaya 99, the first corporate tower in Melaka as well as the city’s first hotel with pool suite and salt water pool. Under his leadership, Yong Tai is proud to bring many ‘firsts’ to Melaka - the first Marriot chain with Courtyard by Marriott, the first duplex residential – The Apple and Encore Melaka as the first international franchise of China’s world famous Impression series.
As the mastermind behind Impression City and the person responsible the birth of Encore Melaka through extensive negotiations with Impression Series, Datuk Wira Boo has cemented his status as a pioneer in arts and culture in the city. With the launch of Encore Melaka in 2018, the Melaka boy has realised his dream to showcase the cultural richness of his beloved hometown and share his love for the city with others.
More than that, Datuk Wira Boo is a warm-hearted philanthropist. His corporate success is outshined by his many charitable deeds. He continues to be a patron for several local NGOs, giving personal donations to those in need and encouraging his staff to give back to the community.
