Encore Melaka Theatre is an award-winning architectural venue where it continuously develops to be a vibrant neighborhood performing arts theatre, providing a venue that continues to inspire, and revitalize your life with the best experiences.

The building was designed with modernist architectural elements and offers a capacity 1800 seating and well-equipped basic lighting and sound equipment including a few multi-functional halls. The theatre is able to accommodate a wide range of events including product launches, movie premiers, film shoots, award ceremonies, seminars, exhibitions, meetings and other corporate events. The venue is ideal for meetings, presentations, workshops, press conferences and private parties.

It is a multi-venue performing arts centre at Melaka City, also the biggest theatre in Southeast Asia located in Melaka’s most prominent site, along the city’s waterfront, 3.5km from Melaka UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Rotating Auditorium

The theatre is engineered using the latest technology. The performance is presented in a new genre and innovative art production – 360-degree rotating auditorium and multi stages, while equipped with advanced audio and a 3D video mapping projection. Audience will not be seated passively but would be made as one of the performers.The 360-degree rotating audience platform is the ‘heart’ of Encore Melaka. Audience will be rotated at a maximum speed of 5 meter per second, stable enough not to be noticed by the audience and quiet enough not to interfere with show performance

Encore Melaka Show Relaunch

ENCORE MELAKA is an immersive performance with a series of untold stories of Melaka, which reflects a society that embraces diversity and inclusiveness. This 70-minutes long mega show reminiscing life stories of the locals with state-of-the-art production sets. The audience will experience 360-degree rotating audience platform fronting a 240-meter long stage, multi-lifting platforms, sound & light and a 3D mapping projection that creates virtual reality that travels through time.
