Encore Melaka is honoured to be officially selected as the venue for World Tourism Day (WTD) organized by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC) and the Melaka State Government.
With the theme “Tourism & Sustainable Transformation”, this prestigious international event will take place from 27 to 29 September 2025, marking a historic milestone not just for Malaysia, but for Melaka as a cultural and tourism icon.

With its status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Melaka offers a unique combination of history, culture, and modern innovation, making it an ideal destination to highlight sustainable tourism.
